AriZona tea in a can:

And despite rising costs, the billion-dollar beverage company has no current plans to raise prices on its 23-oz cans, chairman and founder Don Vultaggio tells CNBC Make It. “For as long as we can, we’re going to hold our price,” he says.

One way the family-owned company is able to maintain its low price point is by not trying to duplicate how other larger beverage companies operate.

“I tell people every day I go to a gunfight with Coke and Pepsi. I have a water gun and they have machine guns. And the way I succeed is by doing things differently,” Vultaggio says.

Costco hot dog combo:

The combo has cost $1.50 since it first arrived in food courts in 1985, even though the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ inflation calculator says it’s worth more than $4 today.

Jim Sinegal, Costco’s co-founder, once told the company’s former CEO Craig Jelinek, “If you raise the effing hot dog, I will kill you. Figure it out.”
quote:

Costco has vowed to keep the price of its quarter-pound all-beef hot dog and 20-ounce soda combo at $1.50 for "a little longer, forever," CFO Richard Galanti said in a statement.

I’m still using dollar bills. Am I supposed to be using $5’s now?

Well, of course! How are they supposed to get through med school while supporting 2 kids with all this inflation by only getting dollar bills?

Pizza

Can still get a large one topping for $10-$12 just like on Home Alone in the 90's

Not an inflation deal as much as just technology around 2000 moving at the speed of ligh but I will never forget how much people were paying for first gen flat screen plasma and lcd TVs in 720p around the year 2000.

A 32inch plasma was 1000 bucks. Now you can get a decent brand twice the size for a third of that.

In other news, Biden's Department of Commerce will now use only Costco hot dogs and Arizona tea in their inflation calculations.

You can probably add Snapple to the list, too.

Delivery pizza still seems about the same price as 1985.
