starting pool season 1 tonight. Finally got my elbow in order and am starting back lifting to include pulling tonight. gonna have to be careful with it so the golfers elbow doesnt come back.

gonna follow up PS1 with PS2 and then FOTH1 and then Arm Farm. starting september i have a plan of running strongville over and over again until feb trying to build as much mass as possible.

goal for next 16 weeks is get blood work absolutely perfect and lose 15lbs of bodyfat to get me below 10%. i was down to 193 before vacation, but was 200 this morning. the week in Hawaii did a number on me. But lot of that is prolly water weight. goal is to be below 185. My arms look awesome but still too much around the mid section for my liking.

i want my blood work to be absolutely perfect.

plan is my normal trt, my prescribed peptides (ghrh/ghrp) combo, add BPC-157, my low dose statin and then my normal(get blood work perfect) supplement stack of

-Nattokinase- 10k IU morning and night (5 caps each)

-Krill oil- 2500mg morning and night(4 caps each)

-Fish Oil with vit d- 2700mg omega3+37.5mcg vit d (3 caps) -3x per day with meals

-Citrus Bergmont- 3000mg(6 caps) morning and night

-Super K- 2 caps morning and night(5200mg morning and night)

-Super bio curcumin- 800mg taken with 2 meals(2 caps with 2 meals)

-Carditone- 3 caps daily

-Glycophase- 4 caps 2/3x per day

-8oz pomegranate juice

its a lot but it works perfect for getting blood work all perfect. may add in reduce xt as i get leaner to help with fat loss too.

Hypertrophy W1D2

Heavy leg and back day. Very efficient workout plan today; under 65 minutes even with my extended warm-up. It was 2 supersets (3 with cardio). The back squat/chin-up SS was easier than the front squat/bent row one. Even though back squat had more reps, the relative weight was a lot heavier for front squats.

My lower back is a little tight so looking forward to cardio/rest day tomorrow.

Finished BBB yesterday. LOVED that program. While I don't like doing the snatch grip DLs, the regular DLs every other day were great.

Ended up getting 350x3 and 365x1 on DL, pretty happy with it. (never used straps)

I really loved the squat and bench sets using percentages and varying reps

Probably running back to the Arm Farm next but might go purchase Pool Season

Anyone do pool season? reviews?

Several of us did Pool Season 1 and 2 last April and May. There should be threads on them if you search. I enjoyed it and it is one of the more popular (and recommended) PPSA plans. Both are 4 days/week with similar schemes. I'm doing Hypertrophy now then taking a 2 week break for vacation. I plan on starting PS1 and 2 when I get back.

PS1 scheme is squat/bench, deadlift/press, squat, bench.

PS2 scheme is squat/bench, deadlift (trad and snatch), squat, bench.

We are gonna be finishing arm farm this week. I'm thinking about going into something lower body focused next.

Any reviews on House of the Rising Buns?

I'm absolutely loving these programs. My wife took a picture of my son and I recreating a picture from when he was a baby. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results.

Actively working on being a good role model for my son.

Well frick, being in your 40s and still doing cool shite sucks sometimes

So while in Maui we climbed quite a few cliffs to jump off of and just to get some cool arse pictures. Well one of the climbs I hurt my knee, twisted it pretty good. Same knee I hurt last summer doing indoor snow tubing. Been feeling great for a while and yea….guess it’s worse than I thought. Doesn’t hurt with bodyweight nor doing ghd but at 135 I felt it and at 185…yea felt it big time and had to shut those down

So gonna skip pool season for now, go see ortho and rehab the shite out of it if nothing torn. Gonna be a while before I’m able to squat again. Hoping trap bar dead lift doesn’t hurt. If not I’ll sub that for squats and just do arm farm so it’s upper body focused almost exclusively.

Pretty pissed about this

Apparently garage gym at night with termite swarms outside is a no go - clear door so they go right to the light and find a way in

Hopefully this doesn't last too long I had bugs all over the garage on me and cannot focus

Finished Arm Farm this morning.

we are going to jump straight into Pool Season 1 this weekend. We did PS2 prior to Arm Farm. This one looks like it has more leg involvement. Big Squat Thursdays looks like I wont be running for a couple days after

Big Pump Fridays look pretty brutal too.

It's gonna be a sweaty May in the garage grindhouse.

We need to get another program party for one month this summer. I like talking about the daily workouts with everyone.

Check out W4D4... Efficient, but you use everything in the gym in that one superset.

My plan is PS1 in June, PS2 in July, DB Strength in August, and Brace Yourself in Sept. Happy to change something to join in.

Just not Let's Get Peachy again. That was an odd one...

Hypertrophy W1D3

I was a little fatigued and on a time crunch this morning so not optimal at all.

Bench was just OK. Made it thru everything, but it was heavier than it should've been. The snatch deadlifts were probably the easiest and cleanest portion of today's workout. Other than needing to change to a mixed grip on set 3, they felt great.

I tend to use week 1 to 'find' the correct weight for fill-in-the-blank exercises. I always have idea of where I plan to start. Depending on what exercises I've already done that day, it sometimes causes me to adjust my planned weight. So on DB OHP, I actually went up on sets 2 and 3 today. On the flip side I lower the weight on the DB lats, tri pushdowns, and CG bench. Now when I plan my week 2 weights I should have a better idea of what weight to use for good form and clean lifts.
