As for "Big Lee", frick him, he got what he was looking for, a confrontation with his elderly, sick neighbor who had enough of his tormenting.

He should have tried that in a Big town!

Yes he was arrested. He died before the case went to trial.

Edited to take out the in jail part.

Wayne Higgins, the shooter, was arrested on charges of 2nd degree murder. He was later released on bond on July 31, 2018 and went to live with relatives. After the shooting and his arrest, his house was sold.

The case was delayed many times over the years and Higgins died 2 days after his last appointed court appearance.

It's a good watch. That guy was another of the proverbial "Schoolyard bully" type who only grew up physically, not mentally and tormented people around him until they decided they had enough.

Should happen more often to those types.

R.I.P. Big Lee from Old Metairie.

His love for LSU Sports was only surpassed for the love he had for situations where he had to tow young women’s cars and they needed a ride.

Only good thing about the whole ordeal was the liberal use of “hose pipe”. I try to use it every chance.

Huge thread when it happened, and not one single post took Big Lee's side or even expressed much sympathy. It tells you how highly he was regarded.
