I always stand for the last 20 or so mins before boarding. if I'm going to cramped and uncomfortable crammed in with people for 2 hours, I am going to stand 1st.

I will get in line about 10 minutes before boarding. Often I am the first one. I like to stand as much as possible since I’ll be crammed in an airplane seat for potentially hours. I get on early to have less stress about finding a spot around my seat for my carry on.
