How are Infiniti and Lexus cars on maintenance?

Looking to trade in the SUV for a car. I like the smaller Lexus and Infinit's. How are each on holding up and maintenance cost?

They hold up well and maintenance is good for luxury vehicles. You knew this already.

I've owned 3 Lexuses (Lexi???) all bought new. They are the finest cars I've ever bought & driven. Maintenance is expensive but I never had any repairs on any of the three, just oil changes, wipers, etc.

How expensive are the oil changes on a Lexus and how often?

Good grief, if oil change cost is a concern, don't buy it.
Those cars probably go 10-15K between changes anyway.

Infiniti G will NEVER go into the shop. Had onefor 10 years. Had an airbag recall. That's it. That Nissan v6 is ridiculous. Once drove a maxima for 27,000 miles without changing the oil.
I tend to put things off.

I warped the rotors on my stepdads twice with hard stops from ~100mph. Not the highest quality bro

Buddy just got this. I'm a fan.

Infinities were known to have crappy rotors, but I thought they got that fixed.
Guess not.

About the same as Nissans and Toyotas.
Only problem is if you wreck a 10 yr. old Lexus, the parts cost just the same as a new Lexus.
Used body parts for Infinity and Lexus are difficult to locate.
For this reason, it doesn't take much of a wreck to total a 10 yr. old Lexus.

Had an Infinity Q45. Bad arse car. Hauled arse. It really needs the higher octane fuel, however.

Da frick? Are you playing real life GTA or something?

I have a G35 and love it. Brake replacement has been the biggest issue but it's at 30K so u can't complain.

Personally Owned:
Lexus 2 ea.
Acura 1 ea.
Honda 3 ea.
Nissan 1 ea.
Mitsubishi 2 ea.
Almost 750,000 miles between them all: One dead battery (over six years old) and a tire knocked off a rim (due to driver error) are the sum total of events which stopped the 9 vehicles over all those years and miles.
They are Japanese, in case you missed it.
Are they perfect? No, but they get you where you want to go.
