The pandemic causing suicides to go up in Japan!

The National Police Agency said suicides surged to 2,153 in October alone, with more than 17,000 people taking their own lives this year to date, CBS reported. This and yet only 2000 people have actually died from Covid 19.

Don’t know typical number, but they are high, but have been declining in recent years due to focus of mental health treatment.

It's not the pandemic causing suicides. It is the overreaction measures that are causing suicides.
