Thank you. High quality answer. You must be the adult tonight.

I'd imagine they're still running that. Why would they change it after so many years of running it so successfully?

Its amazing how much production that offense gets.

Don't worry about it. Most of these guys are either drunk at this point, or typical SEC fans. Love talking about different offensive schemes. Especially Baylor

What does the NFL say?

My guess is that your Bears have fared well running and throwing due to a combination of factors:
1. As previously stated, the Big 12 plays shitty D.
2. Also, Baylor players have heretofore been highly motivated by guarantees that the can rape and beat all the women they want with impunity, so long as they over-perform against said shitty defenses.

Depends on your definition of production. How does one determine production?

Y/G? Points? Games? Championships?

LSU played a Big 12 defense last season and scored 5 straight TDs on that defense

well for one thing look what we did vs texas tech for comparison. they are a big twelve team

Texas Tech had clearly the worst defense in the Big 12. So I dont think its fair to assume all Big 12 defenses are exactly as bad as Texas Tech.

Seems to be about the smallest sample size you could possibly have.

Also, if you really want to compare, Baylor scored 63 points while racking up 680 yards with 368 rushing yards and 312 passing yards against Texas Tech.

LSU had 56 points with 638 yards, 261 passing, and 377 rushing.

So you have one game there, but not really a great measure.

Texas Tech gave up more than 50 points 5 times last season. Again, they were statistically the worst defense in the Big 12.

Baylor is playing northwestern state and LSU hasn't played yet. I would hold off for maybe a little while longer before forming such a definite opinion

Right. As I've stated. That's only one game, and Texas tech was by far the worst defense in the Big 12 last season. They were ranked 127th in the nation (2nd to last).

Oklahoma was 28th
West Va 52nd
Baylor 56th
TCU 63rd

Hell, Auburn was ranked 85th in total defense.

Western Kentucky 88th.

South Carolina 91st

Syracuse 96th

Arkansas 67th

Miss St. 55th.

Ugh, why are you comparing total yards. Yards per attempt is obviously the more relevant stat. And then Im sure the average rushing defense of the SEC >> the avg Rushing defense of the Big 12. Which will make up for more than whatever difference would still remain.

Theres your answer

eta: Quit fricking around in this thread and see if any of those reasons I listed is why you are getting stop sign in Chrome. Its bugging me and i wanna know what the problem is

Notice I put up links for stats from seasons already played. 2011-2015.

I agree with you, though. I'm just not talking about the 2016 at all.

I am the biggest fan of Baylor's offense.. I have often said I want their offense.. they run and pass well. What's not to like. They are a top 5 rushing offense.. yet they have efficient QBs, even when the starters go down.

I don't always buy into the conference stuff, but my point is LSU overall would have better numbers against Big 12 defenses.. It is what it is.

LSU would do very well in the Big 12

LSU plays ball control, which I prefer. I'd rather keep their D on the field the whole game

Eta: unless it's the last minutes in the game or we're losing, I don't give a shite how fast we score

It is a "live by the sword, die by the sword" type of offense.

That's no longer a helpful thing to say. Please provide some data to back-up your claim. Not saying you're wrong, but your argument is "shitty" because its literally a single sentence.
