Incredibly dumb for Deion to say he’s keeping receipts.

Recruits won’t love that.

I remember when I told the more sports board Deion is a clown show and is all an act. Deion cares about Deion. The more sports board didn’t love that. Deion is an arse.

Cormani McClain also couldn’t get on the field for a below average Colorado team

Deion was a professional athlete.

But he is not a professional coach. He is a clown. Its funny to watch the pendelum swing. Last year every program wanted to find the next Coach Prime. After his fall they will be look for the anti-Prime.

I think Deion doesn't have the patience to build up a school the way a Nick Saban did. That requires an alignment across the entire university which would include Deion playing some politics with prominent alumni and possibly even Colorado state political figures. It would also require a longer term investment on his part beyond 3-4 years. Deion has never given the vibe that he's trying to build Colorado.

Aside from that, NIL has really thrown a wrench into the "build a program" strategy and it's obviously a big reason why Saban left.

You can't cultivate a culture when you have 40 brand new players every year. It's happening to everyone. Outside of pure facility upgrades, everything becomes about recruiting and evaluating.

I get that you might not like what the player says, but if a player just does not want to be there then there’s really no choice but to let them go. No reason to feud over it, just move on and find someone else to fill his spot.

Not sure if I’m late on it but the fact that Deon has never made a home recruiting visit blows my mind
