Carbon dating >>>>> words on paper

Carbon dating
Carbon is found in "millions of years old" dinosaur bones. The problem is the carbon shouldn't be there if it is millions of years old.
But here's the real problem: you have to explain getting something from nothing. You know, the universe popping into existence, then particles bumping arse for billions of years until you get us, conscious beings.

My father was devout and educated man. Whenever something like this came up in conversation, he expressed the belief that God placed humanity on earth. Didn’t believe in evolution. I guess it was his spin on creationism. I tried not to engage him in those kinds of discussions.

What always confuses me about these biblical lifespans is who knows how long a “year” was before calendars? Could that 600 actually be 600 months because of lunar cycles — that translates to 50 of our current years?
I’ve thought about this a few times since I was a child. 900 “ years old “ based on a year actually being a month is a 75 year old man.

Why does anybody have to explain something from nothing? Something from nothing is a concept created by humans for humans. Maybe the universe, existence, and consciousness pulses like a heart. Maybe it expands and contracts, and this is the expansion. It's just hard for me to understand why we as a species think we should be able to explain everything, and it's even harder to understand why we as a species, who compared to the rest of universe are microscopic, think we can explain all of it because of a book we printed

Roughly 7000-10000 years old according to peer reviewed studies.

I trust the eyewitnesses and the scientists with the billion years' models. They should know.

So what's the universe expanding into? Like, what's on the other side?

10’s of billions of years old has to be the claim because how else would you explain evolution? Everything Lucifer does is to discredit God. My belief is the age of the earth is unknown. The science that it’s billion and billions of years old is not exact and again “has to be the case” or else evolution wouldn’t apply.
The saying “because it’s science” is thrown around a lot. Science is very broad, a lot of it theory, and we all know there’s good science, bad science, incorrect data, and changes over the years. I wonder if science is a religion for a lot of people.

Nobody knows and nobody even has an idea. Whether it's an astronomy textbook or a religious textbook no human being has any clue what the hell is going out there

Hide behind theory all you want. Mines as good as yours. But if you believe mine, it means hell is real. You better hope you're right.
If an omnipotent, omniscient god created humans knowing they would fall and then punished said fall by forcing the overwhelming majority of said humans to spend a literal eternity tortured by hellfire, that god is evil.
When you say that your god is loving and just, you're lying to yourself. You worship an evil, malevolent god.
