I regret my tattoo's lol. 19 year old in the Navy makes some stupid decisions for sure( it was just part of the culture and I wanted to be a part of it) . It hasn't affected work or anything but you are in a completely different mindset once you get to 24 25 years old. Its just pointless imo

People wanting visible tattoos should take a trip to an old veterans retirement home and see how tattoos look as you age.

They also didn't know what sunscreen was. Tattoos look shitty primarily because of sun damage. There have been plenty of pictures of folks that have tattoos sustaining 2nd and 3rd degree burns, where the tattoo looks brand new after the top layers of skin are debrided.

Sunscreen on the face and tats, always.

Good. That’s 1/3 of the people I don’t have to deal with.

I was just talking with my fiancé about this. A person who is in our wedding has full sleeve tats and it’s going to be a very classy and tasteful wedding but all of our wedding party photos are going to have their fully tatted arms and shoulders in them. I am not thrilled….

No one will give a frick.

Imagine when all these girls get around 50 years old. Don't even want to think about when they're 70+

Why? Do you routinely find 70yo people sexy? Do you think 70yo flabby, wrinkled arms will be ruined by tattoos? Weird

I purposely wouldn’t allow them to walk or choose a dress if it’s a girl that covers it all. So gross and trashy

A lawyer on my masters swim club who has his degree from Columbia law and works for one of the top law firms in the country doing wealth asset management has a bunch of tats. In his speedo you can see everything......But when he puts his suit on you can't see them. Is that trashy?

He obviously was the victim of a lot of trauma as a child. It’s sad. He hates himself and believes he deserves to be marked up like a 3 year old’s coloring book. He looks in the mirror at night and relives the trauma in his mind and probably indulges in other self-destructive behavior.

He needs someone to tell him it’s okay; he was just a little boy and didn’t deserve to be treated that way. It wasn’t his fault, it was the adult victimizer’s fault.
