p.s there is something wrong with his eyes, but they are not demonic! lol

LOL Ok I'll give him credit if thats true.
But you gotta admit that look he gives the camera does look like a man possessed!

'I.I.I.I.I.I.I... SMOKED him!!!!"

Of course there are some real du-mases out there in TV hunting land. I'm trying to remember the name of the bowhunter that did a bunch of shows selling his strategies only to be busted for hunting penned up deer for his TV show.
Anyone remember who that was?

Some of you guys have a lot to learn when it comes to having the privilege and in some case the right to hunt. Why put one man down because it's not the way YOU hunt. Of coarse I don't go along with disrespecting the animal or canned hunts but if it legal and moral why criticize it.

Where does it stop? Maybe I think the only real hunting is with a long bow and cedar shafts would it be right to stop you from shooting a compound and carbon arrows?

One thing I have learn from trapping and getting to know antis is they love to drive a wedge inbetween groups, united we stand devided we fall.

Eh, I think some folks are arguing that some of these things you mentioned actually are the wedges that divide. We all have opinions on the subject.

Lots of things bother me about hunting shows, like the absolutely horrid music.

I don't watch hunting shows because they are utterly boring, and pointless 99% of the time. Rarely will a hunter ever learn anything from a modern hunting show.

You would learn more from a well done nature show than one of these shows.

I don't know if you were responding to my post or just the thread in general, but I will say this.

I do agree we need to stick together as hunters.
I don't condone hunting deer with dogs, but it's a time honored Southern tradition to some, so while it's not my cup of tea, I'm not gonna give hell to those that do.(Unless they run dogs onto my land that is)
It's legal to bait now in the part of Ga. that I hunt. Is it for me? No way Jose'. But to each his own.
I also hunt with bow only, because I like the challenge it presents. To me popping a deer 200 yards away on a food plot is still hunting, but doesn't require the same amount of effort that bowhunting mature whitetails does. Just because it's not for me, doesn't mean it's not for someone else.
Now you take a high fenced, low acreage shooting gallery, put 170-class deer in there and charge some yahoo 10K to "hunt" his deer, more power to you. But it's not how I want to put a trophy buck on the wall. I, for one, don't care to look up on the wall and see a trophy that I know was killed that way, nor spotlighted, or anything else unethical in my book. Thats just me.

I started out rifle hunting. Went to bow to extend my season, got into 3D archery to improve my skills and it led me down the path I am today.I hunt bow only, even during gun season. I enjoy the challenge it takes to set up on a big boy and try to lace him with an arrow. It's not for some and I respect that.

Some like chocolate, some vanilla, just sayin'.

i'm calling bullshite, aint no way this happens 99.9999% of the time just because there is a camera rolling.
