I'm sure this board would also be behind Atlanta if we passed a law saying you didn't need an ID to vote and allowed same-day registration (and giving water to people in line).

Because in secure/ fair elections, dems would get beat by 50 point margins. They know it. We know it. They know we know it.

Plus that leads to citizenship being on the census and they would stand to lose 7-12 House seats easily

There is only one reason for opposing making election cheating difficult.

You mean cheating.

I mean, Im opposed to cheating.

My question to you is, do you believe that people are so dumb and inept, that they can’t get a legitimate identification card to prove who they are?

Should the world get rid of passports as well?

I don't, I mean well-understood and valid laws practiced in many other states.

But Republicans don't like them because they don't quite suppress the minority vote enough to help the red team win.

So you are a leftist that doesn’t believe that minorities have the wherewithal to get a legitimate ID.

I find your bigotry to be fascinating.

No, I'm a realist who knows that Republicans have discussed themselves which types of voting restrictions most limit minority voting access, then implement them.

I will never understand the opposition to showing ID to vote.

I think it’s probably a matter of conflict with state law.

The claim is “poll tax”, which is currently unconstitutional.

Doesn’t fly when you can have free government id issued to you.

And considering how many things require government ID to do, claims someone can’t vote because of it don’t hold up. Can’t cash a check, buy beer, buy cigarettes, or go to an R rated movie without one.

You need an ID to take a proctored online exam for Christ's sake.

Anyone who is against voter ID is a lost cause.

Have you ever been to Huntington Beach?

There are zero people that can’t get an ID.

Are you OK with Putin, ISIS, and the population of North Korea having the ability to vote and elect our leadership?

This is such a lazy arguement

You have 6mnths to vote before and after Nov 4th

How can anyone be suppressed

Any state that has a law that prevents voter ID requirements is sabotaging everyone in country. It should be unconstitutional period.

Links to these Republican discussions?

Oh, and you are still a bigot.

I have faith that minorities can get a legitimate ID.
