Even if convicted the fact they bring this case is pure lawfare and everyone knows it.

I know enough to know he isn't.

Oh no!! They took “an oath!!” same oath Hillary Clinton took in front of congress?

An oath!!

This judges daughter worked for Kamala Harris. Yep. Sounds like a fully partial family.

That in of itself is not enough to recuse. Now, if his daughter said stuff about her dad and the trial, that may be a different story. Need a bit more than just having a relative that works for a political party. Again, Clarence Thomas shouldn’t be on SCOTUS if you follow your logic. His wife is an uber republican.

Not expecting anyone to change their vote, because that’s quite the jump to go from Trump to Biden based on a conviction. But, does it change the way you view Trump if he is convicted?

Nope

I don't plan on voting for Trump, but anyone denying that this is anything other than political persecution and an abomination of our legal system is either too stupid to breath or lying.

So no. It hasn't changed my mind about Trump. It has lowered my opinion of our legal system.

It’s not illegal to do that. You’re missing a big part of the whole thing. This is about Trump lying about the payments to Cohen and what they were for under the guise of “legal services” for reimbursement of the hush money that Cohen fronted. That is straight up fraudulent.

It’ll be interesting to see how the jury views it. Either way, Trump is a liar. That’s my perception of him. Biden is too.
I understand all that. My point was that everyone who is going to care is fully aware of what happened and how he handled it. I doubt that there are even many disputed factual issues at trial.

The only question is whether it was illegal to handle it in the manner that he handled it.

Damone loves lawfare. Cleared by the DOJ. Tape of Trump surreptitiously taken by Cohen where Trump says if any payment is made it must be “on the up and up”.

DA runs on “get Trump”. Everyone, including Dems know this is a political persecution.

Damone the moron calls people defending Trump cultists. Damone is your typical democrat far left wacko. He is just fine with lawfare. He is a short-sighted simpleton.

Technically true, but does it pass the "APPEARANCE of impropriety" smell test?

The flip side is that this judge apparently has a reputation as a VERY straight-shooter, just like the Rittenhouse judge (where there was great rending of clothing amongst Rittenhouse supporters about how terribly the judge was going to screw him).

I suspect many will be surprised at how well this judge handles this case, just like the Rittenhouse judge.

I am at a loss what he is being tried for?

Paying a porn star off to help his chances to win?

130k dollars? Cohen made the payment, not Trump, no campaign funds used
Letters from Stormy says "We never had sex"

Stormy lost a case to Trump, she owes him several hundred thousand dollar s

Is it illegal to pay people not to say anything publicly? Billionaires get hosed for stuff like this all the time...

Trump had 3 wives all amazing in thier prime

Trump also dated a Playboy model, at the time, she was a 10 of 10's

Don't see how Trump got tangled with Porn star...doesn't seem like he needs to do that...

Democras want it all to be true but what if it isn't?
