J6 actually caused Loeffler to rescind her objection
J6, was intended to be, at best, virtue signaling. It turned into something much worse than just virtue signaling, however.

It was intended to be a protest by almost everyone there (99%+).
It wasn't intended to "actively change the course of the transition of our government". I'd suggest that the same 99+% were hoping the federal government would step in and investigate the validity of the election. That's what everyone wanted at that time.

Yes, they wanted Congress to do their job. Mike Pence should have sent the State's that quit voting back to their respective Legislatures for investigation. He was well within his power to do that but failed to protect democracy.
