According to a source that will remain nameless, the booster and other financial donors are preparing an offer that would make Meyer college football’s highest-paid coach. The offer is expected to be in the ballpark of roughly $12 million per season, which is higher than current contracts owned by both Harbaugh ($8M) and Alabama head coach Nick Saban ($9M).

In full, the proposal is expected to approach $120 Million for the duration of a term extending 10 years. At the moment, it’s unclear when the proposal will be pitched to Meyer, as current Wolverines head coach Harbaugh still remains under contract with the university through the end of the 2021 season.

He is younger and one of the best coaches ever. If Saban doesn’t tack too many championships on I could see Meyer winning a bunch at a powerhouse.

Meyer said he would have continued at Ohio State if they had allowed him to delegate more responsibilities.

I think his health would be fine if they permit him to run his show his way.

I can only see Urban taking two jobs: Southern Cal and Notre Dame. The former is a disaster right now (and not entirely due to their own decisions) and the latter isn’t on the table right now.

Then again if Texas or Michigan wanna throw 8 figures in his back account yearly, he will say yes without a doubt - especially with no statement income tax in Texas.

Sounds familiar...where have I heard something like this before?

Breaking: LSU could have deal in place with Tom Herman as soon as Saturday

Ahh that's right, 2016 when Texas was dragging their feet on firing Strong so Tom Herman's agent floated that their coveted hire was going somewhere else.

Guess who Urban Meyer's agent is?

The Meyer's are close with the Kelly's. The Meyer's have said that they would not consider the Notre Dame job.

But I guess anything is possible.

They could probably get Les Miles for less than that.

Urbanz won't even say the fricking word "Michigan." He's such and a-hole, they can offer him $200 million and he probably wouldn't take it....

He'd just use the offer to get more cash from Texas. And they're sore depaerate, they'd offer him ownership of the stadium if it meant they could get him.
