Go figure the culture can't even respect a HS Graduation ceremony enough where it's gotten so bad, EBR Superintendent has to now step in and try and control these fools.

Probably just need to cancel these ceremonies for good.

Others took a different view, saying these kinds of celebrations are part of Baton Rouge culture. "If I were graduating tomorrow, I would be in one of those videos too, dancing like everybody else," Aaron Goings said.

Timothy Morgan said he did not graduate from high school, so he is proud to see their excitement about the accomplishment. "For me, it's an awesome thing because I didn't graduate. For them to walk across and be excited about it, that's awesome to me." Morgan said.

EBR Superintendent considers task force to address dancing at graduations

This is the way. It's a graduation ceremony, not a night club.

Their favorite thing to do is start a “task force”

I’m sure there will be a committee of officials and members of the faith community who will be tasked with convening and conducting a study of how to create the task force to focus on what they can do to reach out to the most vulnerable and underserved members of the community…or some dumb shite like that.

Oh let them have their fun. They'll be on a pre-med track at Harvard next semester, graduation is their last chance for some whimsy.

The hilarity is in the fact most of them are celebrating yet can't read, write, or do math on grade-level.

The real humor in this is East Baton Rouge Schools thinking they can actually fix something

James O’Keefe, the undercover media guy, caught some higher up bureaucrat saying that creating committees is the best way to siphon money and not solve a problem that citizens recognize. It’s a standard operating procedure of the fictitious “deep state” that doesn’t exist.

I say let em dance.
We should get up and dance with them.
They finished frickin public high-school.
That's a relief.
Its bucking modern trends and stereotypes.

Edit to add my later response
quote:

Absolutely. This is still better than shooting up the Mall of Louisiana or street take overs that run over bystanders.

In today’s day and age that means you have a pulse and didn’t put a teacher in the ICU.
