I would be 50% of them can’t even read their diploma.

Timothy Morgan said he did not graduate from high school, so he is proud to see their excitement about the accomplishment.

They simply followed an easy path where every single step was laid out for them in advance.

Congratulations on making it through the easiest part of their lives.

I have to admit, I absolutely love twerking. I’m obsessed with doing it. I would hope that if I were graduating from high school tomorrow, I could resist and control my urges. But if I’m being honest, I would probably twerk my arse off to feel free and make a statement to the world.

A task force... to actually go to ceremonies and enforce the rules? Or to study the problem? You didn't need to evaluate shite. The trashy video is very easy to find.

Tell them not to do it. Should be all that's needed.

You have to respect that principal for shutting down the graduation. You do that and they will learn. Consequences meets behavior.

Iirc the ceremony is optional. If you don’t want to witness the ridiculousness skip it.

We are headed to a home school model for all of the normal people. In person public in Baton Rouge has been destroyed.

Real charter schools are taking over public schools at an ever increasing rate.

The people who don't give a shite about their kids or their education will be the only ones left at true public schools.

One of the biggest issues facing many public schools is the fact that due to their insatiable need for $$$$ they no longer kick out bad apples but keep them and we all know any classroom can only go as far as the lowest common denominator can.

In the years to come there will be another Judge Parker type suit that will attemp to force charters to take the bad apples.

with that being said many there are charters designed to educate and charters designed to simply over take failing schools - they are not the same.

Given the "affordable housing" units placed in or those that turned into them in what is now St George many since the vote to create StG and largely due to Obama's war on the suburbs - IT MOST CERTAINLY WOULD!

The real humor in this is East Baton Rouge Schools thinking they can actually fix something
The fact that the magnet program just won a national award is fools gold. Yeah the top of the magnet food chain is strong - but the rest not so much.

You really have to wonder about the other 12 districts they were compared to.
