Broome sweeping out her opponents umm I mean her city employees

Officer set up a billboard with union approval to oppose city leadership raises was fired
Also, another BRPD officer arrested for stolen property.
I’m so glad Mayor Broome was re-elected. She has done a great job with the poleece department in Baton Rudge.

Broome runs this city-parish like the mafia. She has complete and total control over the Police Chief and every single media outlet in the city holds her water. It's right in plain sight, but of course she's not held accountable for how evil and crooked of a person she is.
Broome had the police chief fired and replaced with her minion.
Broome had Kiran Chawla fired from WAFB when Kiran wouldn't stop looking into homicide number reporting inaccuracies.
The officer fired today, Siya Creel, did this interview with Kiran Chawla which led to him being fired.
Broome has WBRZ in her back pocket from her connections as her former employer.
The Advocate never publicizes anything questioning Broome, but rather makes excuses for her. Shoot, they ran an article yesterday saying how much our trash pickup has improved this year -- I get home and my trash hadn't been picked up for the 5th time this year.
Broome was illegally tipped on tax information on her most formidable opponent Tara Wicker and had Wicker removed from the Mayor race via lawsuit.
Broome filed a lawsuit to remove Matt Watson from the Mayor race and lost.
Broome threw a hissy fit at St. George proponents for pushing to get the vote on city incorporation at the earliest possible voting date "because it is a low turnout day." Nevermind the fact that she put the Roads Tax intentionally on a low turnout voting day herself. Hypocrite.
Broome filed a lawsuit against the city of St. George because she thinks her opinion matters more than the voters.
She is a complete piece of crap from every angle. The articles write themselves, but WAFB, WBRZ, and The Advocate don't dare cross the queen.

The Advocate is just that, an Advocate for the political positions its staff and editors favor.

So the little clip of his BRPD badge 42 seconds into the video is what got him fired. Good work BRPD. Really cleaning up the department.

They've been trying to fire him since the billboard and interview but couldn't because he was on leave for cancer. Guess they finally found a way.
Hope he sues them into oblivion.

It could have been different if some of the lazy-asses in St. George who love to bitch about her would have gotten out and voted (some precincts had a 9% GOP turnout - WTF??) then maybe she wouldn't be celebrating a 2nd term.

So the black officer committed two felonies wasn’t booked and this was kept silent for six days. However the white doctor committed a minor misdemeanor battery running around the LSU Lakes and was immediately publicly booked. Are those the facts?
