A California father said he’s been granted full custody of his 4-year-old son following a protracted legal battle with the boy’s mother — who allegedly forced the child to wear dresses and glitter because she wanted to raise him as non-binary.
Harrison Tinsley told “The Daily Signal Podcast” that he prevailed in the years-long court battle to win full physical custody of Sawyer, which the dad likened to “watching a miracle.”

In California? There's got to be more to the story .

This is very welcoming news.

The mother likely admitting she was choosing to do this instead of “the child wants this!” likely had issues on that end.
She also likely had a few screws loose mentally as well.

There is. Looks like he was denied then there was an “incident” seemingly involving drugs and CPS recommended him to have full custody. Whatever works.

I read the rest of the article and...
quote:
After learning Sawyer’s mother had been arrested for felony child endangerment, Tinsley filed for full custody in San Francisco Superior Court last year, claiming that she had “slandered and defamed” him for years. The details of that arrest and incident are unclear.
The dad said he presented the court with mountains of evidence — including eight hours of police bodycam footage and over 800 pages of supporting documents — but the court sided with Sawyer’s mother, he said.
Tinsley appealed the decision last December, and claims that Child Protective Services in San Francisco became involved following an alleged “incident,” about which he declined to further elaborate.
CPS investigated and recommended Tinsley be granted full custody of the boy, and that the mother be subject to regular drug and alcohol testing, he claimed.
It was likely drugs that did her in. No way a California court gives full custody to a father because the mother forces the kid to pretend he is a girl. Yes, it is fricked up but it is true.

In addition to the obvious.
Perusing the article, she apparently had some kind of arrest for child endangerment and someone had requested she be regularly checked for drug and alcohol use.
So we have a lesbian nonbinary who mentally abuses their child by taking them to Disney and not letting them on any rides unless they wear the princess shoes she bought them subsequently getting arrested for child endangerment.
She sounds stable.

Are we sure he's really the father?
They are identical down to the way they have a gap between their upper and lower teeth.
Feel good story of the day!

If I don’t even know what that is, I’m sure as shite a four year old doesn’t either.

I'm glad the Dad got custody of the kid but that is a pretty misleading title.

Love me some good news stories.

Any person allowing their child or forcing their child to act as the opposite sex necessarily has screws loose and should be locked away in prison so they cannot procreate.

Tinsley alleged that Sawyer’s mother — who he said identifies as a lesbian and non-binary herself — tried to push her gender ideology onto the child from the time he was a baby.
I’m no expert, but there seems to be one big piece of evidence to the contrary here.

800 pages and 8 hours of police bodycam footage, and they still side with the mother, which led to another incident that required CPS intervention.
The dad getting custody is obviously worthy of celebration, but this fight shouldn't be over.
The court defying logic and putting the child in further harm, plus wasting tax payer money by requiring additional intervention and additional appeals, should draw further scrutiny.
Should.
But won't.

But the issue is that the root issue is not solved for other kids.
This one kid here got lucky.
