Salvation Army is transporting illegals across the country for free

Zero money for Salvation Army. Zero.

This is news? It’s been going on for years. Salvation Army, Catholic Relief and a shitload of liberal NGOs and hundreds of millions of tax dollars are bringing the border to your hometown.

This is part of the indirect logistical support from the global network that wants to destroy the nation. There have been reports about the UN being part of this as well.

This is sad and tragic. You did good, D; a lot of Institutions were honest back then that have been corrupted now.

I try to look a the big picture as I know that there are many good folks and their children who suffer in deplorable ways in those "sh&%&&^le countries" who grasp at any chance to end said suffering. I would if I were there with my Grandchildren. For people of Faith/Christians, WHY they are there is another issue; one of the which Secular people will argue that it is "life's lottery" that put them there and not God's Hand re "the hairs on your head are numbered".

The Dem Left is Marxist/Socialist/Transnational Progressive. They do not believe in sovereign Nations, Borders or that some people should be able to use their innate talents and ability to acquire superior affluence. Both Mother Nature and God/Religion disagree with that (competitive) principle; though in the God Paradigm the 'competition' would be personal and spiritual as would the affluence. Many good, professed Christians (whatever form such may take) are outraged that people like Joe Biden and many political, religious and social people offer nothing toward the production of essential goods and services and societal relative affluence yet manipulate the System to gain affluence and power in disgusting and unfair ways. We'll see where they end up in their next life if indeed there is one and God judges their worth. It turns my stomach to even imagine that I might wake up in Biden's 'bubble of perception'. Seriously nauseating.

We are about ten years away from massive technological revolution, as Quantum Computing speeds up the process and offers Knowledge of the kind that it took Humans millennia to decipher and employ as power. This Power can totally change the 'survival and prosperity' principle and the essence of Humanity at its core. It may be labeled "the Second Coming" of Jesus/Truth, or as many other Religions depict it as an ultimate Utopian dream. As though Humans (the good ones) deserve such a fate, but the possibilities - good and bad - are off the imaginary scale. The sky is the limit.

Early in life, you began serving the weak of your kind out of some inclination of conscience/heart that was innate in your ("pre-destined" by God?) character, and I suspect that has not changed, though in the 'latter days' "men's hearts shall wax cold, for iniquity shall abound". The good and Godly in you and me both will be challenged by said iniquity. But think of that 'big picture'.

There are only two possibilities re our short life as who and whatever we are; the first being that we are 'children' of some miraculous and incomprehensible form of an Energy which is basically Self-Aware and possesses an infinite 'Intelect' which no limited 'Child'/Entity could even begin to comprehend...and that this Entity/Energy/Intellect is LOVING, as you were (and hopefully still are) in your purest form (a child). "Lest ye be as a child, neither shall ye enter...".

The other option is that we are nothing more than a temporal manifestation of a chance concoction of a purposeless form of Energy/Matter and of no more innate value than that of a mosquito. The idea of 'Value' would not even exist if such be case in a Secular (no God, with an innate Love for It's/His Creation), and there is no basic issue or hope of Love enduring for eternity, as we meaninglessly manifest and disappear in the blink of an eye. Painless after the act, but infinitely tragic as me and my granddaughter, friends, dogs and all the Beauty in this life is lost, eternally so. That is BS! And I will never accept it, as I employ William James' "The Will to Believe" and by Faith, CHOOSE to believe that it is and will be ME - via my Belief and Action - that will determine my ultimate fate. That is the way it should work IF this Universe is Spiritual/God-based. Our dreams will be our future.

Hang on my Brother, the 'wheat will be separated from the tares' pretty soon. It will be painful and ugly, but so has been the long trog of Humanity to this wondrous time. Jesus will do his assigned job very well. It's coming. Lord have mercy on them who love.

Helping a friend in need is our calling. I would like to see a purely biblical argument that would suggest what the beautiful Salvation Army is doing is wrong. There are both macro arguments for helping aliens in a foreign land, i.e. the narratives of Israel in Egypt or Babylon, succinctly put as "Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt," as well as micro arguments from the teachings of Jesus and St. Paul, e.g. "love your neighbor as yourself."

A biblical argument that encourages the followers of Christ not to help those in need by providing them food and shelter is tenuous at best and the ones I have seen are grounded in political rhetoric rather than the Word of God. Such arguments are secular and anti-Christian, placing nation, pride, and security ahead of faith in the God of creation, the God who loves and taught us to love sacrificially, even unto death. The spirit of Satan leads to fear, rejection, and hatred of the other. The spirit of Christ leads to fellowship with, service to, and love of the other, without counting any cost because that is what Christ did and that is what Christ taught us to do.
