Usually these types of things are never reported by the local beat writers

I guess it gives plausible deniability if the trade offers just aren’t there and they decide to pivot back in the last minute

It's actually not. I wouldn't be surprised if a guy living under the interstate got a tip before one of our local guys

The local guys don’t have the national sources that national guys have. Their sources are just the team. So they won’t report it unless the team wants them to even if they know off the record.

Lakers took Griffin to the bank on the AD trade. And why is he going to be allowed to fix the pile of manure that he caused for 5 years?
Almost as bad as these POSs in CONgress that f-cked up the country but have a"solution" 25+ years later.

Man it was reported that Griffin offered BI one last offseason and he declined it hoping to make All NBA and get bigger deal. If this is true, BI bet on himself and basically lost it all.

If this Evan guy is trying to wish something into existence, I’m right there with him. I think Griff will actually make a bunch of moves this offseason because he’s feeling the fire. They will probably all the be the wrong moves because he fricking sucks.

He can get an extension from a team willing to trade for him. He just ain’t getting one here.

Thats true but I’m not sure many other teams would give him that. You would think BI might demand that before he gets traded or its a one year rental. Interested to see what team might do that?

If he doesn’t extend BI, trades him and puts Trey in the starting lineup. In my opinion- Griffin deserves credit to making this team better. We can’t hate on a guy if he does what we want him to do.

No they didn’t. We got a haul. Griff fricked up that haul

Philly would be willing to extend him if they thought a core of him, Maxey, and Embiid would win.

Past that, I’m wondering who would do so. Theoretically, Utah, Detroit, or OKC could but Detroit has too many people who play BI’s positions while OKC is successful and probably doesn’t want a guy they played off the floor in the first round.

Dell also left a huge fricking mess when he left, such as Solomon Hill and his contract.

Griff didn’t fully succeed but some of those assets were spent fixing long term mistakes by the previous administration.

Flipping Adams et all in year two? THAT was fully on Griff for how he had tried to unfrick Dell’s mess.

Or they let him play it out without long term commitment. If he does great- give him the extension and if not you get money to chase another free agent. I feel like most smart teams might do this.
