Christians really need to read Enoch 1. It gives so much inderstanding to key events in the Bible and you will start reading the Bible in more literal sense.
There has been, and will be, attempts to transform man into something other than what God created. Literal genetic angel/human hybridization. There is a genetic war, a spiritual war, and access to other realms war all in attempt to overthrow, hijack, or bypass God.
And consider transhumanism and AI in relation to end time prophecy.
Daniel 2:43
43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Read above as if seed means descendants or genetics. Cause that is what it means.

How do we have wolves, poodles, great danes, chihuahuas, dachshunds in less than 10,000 years when evolution tells us it takes millions of years?
Of your list, only wolves are a product of natural selection. The rest are all the product of genetic modification through selective breeding processes.
I really hope I was able to clear that up for you.

If you read, you saw that i wrote i understand this is artificial selection. Even added (human guided selection) for those too slow to understand artificial selection.

The Noah story was nothing more than allegory stolen from another civilization's oral traditions.

At best it would be regional. Not sure when crocs became a dominant species in Noah's area of the world, or if they ever were.
Correct. Just as it was said that the mustard seed was the smallest seed when obviously it isn’t. This was based on what they knew of the region they lived.

What if evolution (within "kind") is more rapid than thought?
Majority of dna is junk dna. What if there is an on/off mechanism for junk dna?

You got this bro.
The Lord created the 'mechanism" for DNA "adjustments" after the Flood -- "rapidly". His entire Creation -- all of it from Man to Beast to Plant to the Air, Land and Seas also under-went a radical makeovers and alteration. (some of the pre-Flood beasts' DNA seemed to have survived before finally washing out).
Dunno about "junk" DNA...could it just be superior DNA that has been de-activated Post-Flood?
So besides the radical change in our DNA , we know the oxygen content was much higher, creating the HUGE size of pre-Flood vegetation and even animals (and even man himself.)
Man's Lifespan:
Before the Flood: Approx: 700-900 years
After the Flood: Approx 100-120 years

Agree. "The Science" call it junk dna.

Yep.
Gilgamesh being one of the main ones.

I've found evidence that ups the age of this world to 9,000 years.
IF you have a "mountain of information to the contrary", please share it. I'm assuming its more Royal Academy / Smithsonian "science", "history", and "archaeology" dressed up as "fact" and NOT "theory".
Ironically, the "majority" of these "establishment" type and their supporters are usually Pagan-Heathen-Atheists worshipers, aka "religious believers" of their own Vanity and "Scientism" that can NOT be proven.

If you cut your skin, it heals. If you break a bone, it heals.
But if you damage nerve tissue, it doesnt heal. If you damage heart tissue, it doesnt heal. You grew nerve and heart tissue as a fetus and as a toddler and is a simple matter of groing new cells. But this mechanism is turned off after a certain point of growth and development.
So how might this fit into natural selection?

The Bible:
Read it.
But if instead you believe ancient Mesopotamian mythology as your "source of truth" and its account of it's "god", then good luck with that.
Q: Who created this world (according to your religion?)

Give it your best shot...
Who is YOUR religion's "Creator" and God?
Do you have one? (Or did the Big Bang" suffice?)
Tick...tick...tick.... (Ill wait as long as you need to answer)

Abraham was from sumeria. Is why there are similar stories. The Bible teaches God created man. Sumerians believed rebellious angels (anunnaki) created man. Very similar to the sons of god in Genesis 6. Is why i recommend Enoch 1.
