So “Playoff basketball” just means refs allow prison raping unless it’s

happening to the wrong team, right? I have grown to despise the term “Playoff basketball”….what the Wolves were allowed to do to the Nuggets these last two games would get them arrested in the street. But hey, it’s “Playoff basketball.” Did I miss the memo about rule changes in the Playoffs? Or is it just “Playoff basketball”? The T-Wolves are huge and athletic, and they are allowed to tackle one’s in possession of the ball. Consequently, they are going to be hard to beat. “Playoff basketball.”

Or they were allowed to play basketball, like all those great ballers of the 90s that everyone is still pining for and it was over.

You should have watched the nba in 90’s and 00’s when the home team got all the calls. Refs are sooo much better now. But yeah, every starter has more than 6 fouls in a game - but who wants to watch bench players?

After the atrocious officiating in the Pacers-Knicks game that played a massive factor in the result of the game, you're complaining about the refs in the Wolves-Nuggets game. Really?

This shift in officiating happened after the all star break. They are letting a lot more ride now.

It’s different rules for different players. When Zion goes to the basket it’s completely okay to do a full body cavity search on him & no foul called but if you touch SGA they call the foul. What happened last night in New York should not happen. The Pacers were robbed. It’s obvious the NBA wants a NY-Boston ECF.

As a neutral fan on this series, it was insanity watching that first half. I also don’t think I’ve seen a NBA team melt and show their emotions like the Nuggets did either. They looked frustrated out of their mind and were so thrown off. Minny was making their shots though too and made it count. Just don’t see anyone beating the Wolves if they’re allowed to play defense like that. Said it last night but they looked like the 04 Pistons. KAT was Sheed and Naz was Wallace

KAT has improved his defense dramatically though but man him and Naz playing like that and draining threes etc is an unstoppable force with Ant.

No defense or officiating in the NBA. Thought everyone knew that.

So the Denver coach loses his mind and comes running on the court and immediately gets in the face of the ref just screaming, give me a technical. The ref is screaming back in his face, to go figure it out and stop whining. And not a technical was called. That was a surreal NBA moment of a very throwback game. I liked it, it made me nostalgic.

Well yeah, Nets, Bulls, Lakers, and Clippers are out… That has to make up for the small market OKC-Minnesota WCF

or it's just the fact that the NBA doesn't play much defense at all until the playoffs
Twolves are just hot right now and just shows how far the Lakers are away from competing for anything meaningful, they didn't have even have Gobert last night and still dominated Nuggets home court

The Pacers wouldn't even let Brunson bring the ball up last night without contact the whole way down the court

You mean the same T-Wolves that destroyed and swept the Suns with Durant and Booker in 4 straight? Sounds more like a you and the Lakers problem.

Refs sucked but I haven’t seen this Nuggets team meltdown like they did last night over it ever before. They stopped playing the Wolves and started bitching to the refs every play it pissed me off. They acted like the damn Lakers.

They better get their heads on straight and nut the frick up or it’s sweep time for the champs

You’ll get harassed because people think you’re whining about your team but it was downright pathetic last night.

As a neutral observer, that game was unwatchable. Nuggets looked bad yeah and then got frustrated but if the Timberwolves are allowed to play like that, then it’s over for everyone else.

Or more likely, they will be allowed to mug the shite out of everyone in the west then the Celtics will get absolutely EVERY possible call.

Being a Nuggets fan, I don't like it either but you have to give credit to the TWolves coming in with a lot more intensity than the Nuggets. That's been a much bigger factor than "the refs ..."

They had a great plan coming in and have executed it well. The refs have let them play. Nuggets should focus on adjusting instead of having tantrums. If you are not tired enough to show your arse, then you're not tired enough to not give full effort.

The T-Wolves again just swept the Suns. Each game they had a different set of refs and I didn't hear any similar complaints about the officiating as they were taking the heart from Durant, Booker, and Beal.

The T-Wolves are suffocating teams with sound defensive principles. The refs last night were just a one-game sample size if you care to admit it. The Wolves came ready for a fistfight and Denver continued to play lethargic, as they really have throughout the playoffs.

The Nuggets don’t have a bench. They’re not a championship caliber team this year without Bruce Brown.
