The thread title has everyone arguing 8 different points.
Can you be more specific than throwing out insults.
I know exactly what you’re talking about. That’s why I started this thread at midnight. But with a title that could be understood.
I’m not trying to be a jerk to you but I think you’re getting about 75% more grief than you should be.

violently occupying is free speech
Was when George Washington did it.
Free speech needs support regardless if we agree with it, or we may find ourselves stripped of our free speech.
Not supporting violence at these protests, but wondering why cops, who let antifa throw piss bottles at them night after night, suddenly have balls now? Were cops just following orders? And will they follow orders when they are told to arrest people for criticizing foreign interference in our government?

Your incompetence at starting this thread without context earned you every downvote you got.

If you want to wave a Palestinian flag and chant, then whatevs.
If you think that you're going to constrain my movements, disrupt my business, or prevent me from accessing certain services, then frick you.
Restricting someone's movement and/or denying them the use of spaces isn't speech.

Tell that to the Jewish kids just trying to go to class, being singled out.

Based on history, a quickly thrown together bill based on emotion won't be very good.
Not having read this bill, I suspect this one will be one of those....

quote:Yeah. Trespassing laws already exist. We didn't need some embarrassingly stupid bill that will never pass teh senate nor SCOTUS, and will become fodder for the "Republicans are fascists!".
It's been wild to observe a large number of people outraged about treatment of J6ers then turn on a dime over protests with which they disagree.

Of course it does. But you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed, so it tracks.

Virtue signaling. Won’t pass the senate. Calm down.

a bill just passed by both parties will make it illegal to criticize the Israeli government.
No matter what side of the Israel Palestine coin you are on, 1st amendment trumps this easily. If that is in fact what the bill says. You don’t even need the SC to brain trust this one, your local 5th grader could solve that case.

Woah woah woah woah woah woah….. YOu are NOW calling J6th “encouraged disobedience”??
Can we get that on record?
YOU are going to fall on the sword and call the federal government reaction to J6th excessive and uncalled for…. Just to save face with Palestinian protesters who are openly vandalizing college campuses? It means that much to you??

Is there some sort of exception that allows you to exercise your first amendment rights while trespassing?
