We have lost the will to fight and accepted the destruction of those founding principles as a part of everyday life. It’s sad.
The Ronbots and Cult45 laughed at Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012. The last true hope for us couldn't get more than 20% of the Republican vote in a primary. They're both full of shite. Americans are a fat and stupid people who can't wipe their arse without the government telling them to. This country is an abomination and cannot be saved.

Directing someone to find a pair of giant golden scissors was the extent of Trump's involvement in that process

Wow. He made some amazing, lasting legislative changes.
Can you think of anything more perfect than responding to a question about how he shrank the government with a photo op involving gold scissors?

At least you admit the powers of the executive are limited in terms of shrinking government.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how Ron was the last real hope. I wouldn't mind seeing Trump frick with the CIA and FBI, but putting him in office is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

I think we’re back at the subject of the OP. You derailed it for one whole post.

Now make up some lies dressed up as truth and post a new thread like the utter shitstain you are.

We need a party for those of us who are small government conservatives.
I'd be interested in how you believe you get that done.
You can form all the parties you want, but if you caucus and vote with the republicans you are eventually co-opted or destroyed by the republican establishment. (see: Tea Party)
You can remain independent from the republican party, nominating your own candidates for each office. However, you would be able to gauge your success by how many marxist democrats win those elections. Success would mean veto proof majorities for the marxists in any body you want to name, as the republican vote is split.
Or, you can vote for the most conservative candidate who has a chance to win, just like most of us has resigned to do. I decided long ago that the extent of my protest against the establishment republicans will be to vote for a third party conservative only when I know that the marxist cannot win, or when the idiot republicans nominate another establishment shitbag that I simply cannot vote for. (see: Haley)

How do they compare to the powers of the executive to grow government?
Do you believe Obama and Biden had/have no power to grow government?

What is it's name?
I hope you're not implying MAGA/AF/Patriots are small government conservatives

He has the best photo ops. People tell him that all the time. They say, “You have the best photo ops. The best.” No one does it better than him.

It's not even working. The decline of the system and the culture have only accelerated since 2016.
I'm sure they'd claim it's because Trump brought them all out of the woodwork, but I see no evidence of doing anything to slow the decline. It's purely "We'll get revenge, score some policy wins that will be fleeting/unwound and double the rate of how substance-less we are as a people."
MAGA has replaced religion for many of these people who are starving for meaning and purpose in life. For others, it's a source of entertainment, kind of like Taylor Swift fans, or perhaps something like a comic book or WWE stoeyline. For others, MAGA represents a giant pulsating middle orange finger to the decline of our society brought on by the various forces of the Left. Collectively, they offer little in terms of solutions that plague our society and government, other than vague platitudes about "tearing it all down" with zero plans and zero evidence of it happening the first time around.

I think Trump can score some wins but they'll be fleeting just like last time. And his conduct and cult of personality movement will just hasten the overall decline even if the policy measures hold off (to some extent) government encroachment for four years. For example, some gains on border/immigration, but massive skyrocketing in the perpetual adolescence of people on the purported right. Which I don't think is a wash, I think it's a net negative.

We've often talked about Idiocracy and Trump probably represents the Brawndo thing better than anything we've claimed on the left.
The left's cult is completely consumed by victimization and negativity at this point. So the blind "praise Trump, at least he fights!" aligns better at this point.

I don’t know. But it needs to at least be discussed as a serious possibility instead of just shouted down as stupid and impossible every time it is brought up. And it probably begins with dedicated re-investment into local business and community and journalism.
So a grass roots local movement that spreads across communities and hopefully to the state level and then regionally and then nationally. But it starts in your own backyards. Take back some local and state elections from the two major federal parties and work from there. The local government in Gretna has nothing to do with the local government in upstate Oregon, so why do we both base our entire ticket in every local municipality’s election on the initial of the federal party next to the candidate’s name? That’s a question that strikes at the heart of our problems. Work to get national party affiliation out of your local and state elections.
How many people can even name one of their state congressmen? Any of their state legislators? A single person on their city council?

why are we pretending that the Presidential admin isn't directly involved in the process of legislation?
It's a negotiation between the House, Senate, and Presidency.
Also, the regulatory laws Trump passed were 100% GOPe policies they dusted off, like their income tax.
