Have heard for some time that he would be out after graduation. Hope it's true.

Cause he’s selling his house? That’s the source of all this?

Agree he's whining a bit, but it's on you. I mean, it's right there on the first page and has been an active topic all day.

I don’t know Mr. Lipsey personally. But I am forever grateful to meet him and to share some common goals.

I can only hope to carry on his legacy once he dies..

Out of curiosity, who is responsible for firing him? Is it the BOD or the governor. Does it have to be either one or both, in agreement. From what I recall JBE came out with as vote of confidence for F. King.

I'm wondering why this is a Rant subject. The president should be first and foremost responsible for the academic well being of a university. If you are arguing he should be dismissed because of an athletic misjudgement then I would argue you don't care about academics and should STFU. If you can make an argument he hasn't improved academics then lets hear it. But it seems most are against him for athletic reasons. Or maybe the rant is for all things LSU? I always saw the rant is a place for athletics.

Like I suspected, the anti King sentiment is based on athletics. This is why the rest of the country laughs at LSU regardless of how good our teams are.

Let's not forget his and his staffs absolutely horrible handling of the Greek incidents

Again, this is secondary to the academic health of a university. Maybe he isn't the guy to make LSU a better university academically. But I want to hear that argument rather than a bunch of but hurt wannabe jocks complaining about not supporting an arguably cheating coach.

Not saying he should be fired for the Will Wade incident as I feel that Alleva paid the price for that. King has significantly lowered LSUs admission standards in order to bring in a higher enrollment which could very well hurt academics in the future. I would also rather have someone at the helm who has experience leading an institute with a large Greek organization as neither of the schools he was at before had that.

This is some game of thrones type shite. Just wait till we find out wade / Woodward planted the yahoo story knowing king and alleva would take the bait. Can someone make a picture of wade and Woodward riding dragons?
