My fear is that they’re going from the frying pan to the fire and LSU is going to fall behind Ole Miss and Miss st academically.

Imo, we need to model after georgia, and florida academically. They’ve got their shite together. Raise the standards for TOPS at least.

Let Woodward do his thing with athletics and don’t impede that. It’s vital that we remain relevant in most sports and fans fully expect championships in football and baseball.

Greeks need to get their shite together and stop acting like morons. There’s stuff going on that needs to stop. I’m okay with tailgating back on the parade grounds. Probably safer.

Hoping Jay Dardene rumors are false. He’s a politician.

If you can make an argument he hasn't improved academics then lets hear it. But it seems most are against him for athletic reasons. Or maybe the rant is for all things LSU? I always saw the rant is a place for athletics.

I tend to agree, but Alexander (and Emmert) proved the importance of being involved.

Serious question...whats his real name? When he isnwith a friend, do they call him "F"? Or "King"
Whats his everyday name?

Not quite. The situation again exposed F King and gave powerful men another bullet to bring it to a head.
The ham handed way it was handled was a catalyst. You never want a Head Coach setting the agenda for the entire institution. LSU is more than athletics.
F King was a horrible hire under the Jindal appointed Board's leadership.

Like I suspected, the anti King sentiment is based on athletics. This is why the rest of the country laughs at LSU regardless of how good our teams are

Dude I travel the entire USA and have for years as a requirement of my job in Construction. I have read many times posts such as yours but as yet have NEVER as in NEVER had 1 single comment regarding LSU academics being substandard. Those comments come exclusively in posts from people like you who apparently have some agenda. Either that or you don't get out much.

I would venture to say that not one damn person I have ever had an LSU discussion with ever even brought up academics as the conversations were always regarding athletics. It is probable that not one of the individuals I had an LSU related conversation with even knew who F. King Alexander was nor did they care.

I have worked from Torrance, California to Salem, Mass. and from Chicago to New Orleans and NOT 1 DAMN TIME was a discussion about what you stated. That is a fact. Stop with the nonsense.

Like it or not, the chances of Wade being gone are higher than F. King. I wish it was not so, but that appears to be the case.

A shite load of ranters said they would donate once King was gone. We better all handle up on that.

I would be surprised if they didn't find something else to get pissed about as an excuse to not donate.

Will be a great thing for LSU if true. Embarassing FKing was ever hired in the first place.

Losing F King will be a great thing for the university.

But, if rumors of JBE pushing the Board for Jay Dardenne are true, we could eventually be worse off. JD is the epitome of old school politics, and will sell his soul to the devil if it will benefit him politically and financially.

Jay Dardenne cares first and foremost about Jay Dardenne. He has been this way since he was an attorney. Ask anyone that's had dealings with him. He's always been a narcissist.

I just hope and pray the administration does a national search and hires the best candidate, not just a political pay back thrown in.

General Wade has gone into the belly of the beast and come out victorious.
. You people actually think Wade got Alleva and King ran off? the situation just caused it to come to a head but this has been brewing for a long time. As far as the beast? There was nothing beastly about the cluster frick that was Alleva/King. They both were weak as hell and controlled by the narrative the narrative of the day.
