Attendance is a problem at every stadium. No arguments there. However, you'd think the students would be better than "Joe Fan" from Boutte.

Getting into the stadium is already a shitshow for us so now you want to make leaving a shitshow too?

if these numbers are accurate you can reduce the student allotment from 14,400 to 12,000 and raise the price $3 from $12-15 and make $7200 more PLUS whatever they sell/fee the 2400 tickets for. It isnt a money thing.

So why should only the students have to pay?

And as an alum, you should recognize that the school exists for the students. As alumni, we should be advocates for the students over ourselves and the administration. That means encouraging students to participate in the fabric of the school community--not bitching that we can't buy their seats.
If we, as alums, create a hostile environment for the students, students will go to schools that are more "student-centered."
Pretty much sums up my feelings as an alumni as well. The players sing the alma mater with the students for a reason. The team is comprised of their peers. They chose to come play for LSU because of the atmosphere the students bring. I don't want that messed with because "Bill" from accounts receivable thinks he should have better seats 7 days a year because he went to LSU 30 years ago.

As current student, I'm all for getting rid of any designated sections. The greeks get the best tickets and are the ones that leave the earliest.
I ok with the ticket ordering process as it is now. I don't want to have to get into line 2 hours before every game just so I can make sure I get in to the game.
Scanning out is retarded
As far as priority points go, make every athletic event a sporting event. Its dumb that some people can go to those individual priority point events only and get just as many priority points as someone who goes to almost every basketball and baseball game

Why is this interesting? They get to booze during the games and get A/C.

Try and sell Brandon Harris on Tiger Stadium with 12,000 students in the NEZ and the rest of the stadium empty.

You fricking morons act like no one else in the world has ever been a student at LSU. That's the problem with your whole damn generation. The bottom line is you idiots don't fill up your section anymore. Time to sell those seats. Oh, and get the frick off my lawn punk
No, in fact its you morons that don't realize that the problems with the student section today are the same as the problems with the rest of the stadium.
The fact is, that with all the televised games nowadays, going to games and staying the whole time just isn't as valued as it was even 10 years ago.
Students leave games early for the same reason non students do

I get it. You're old as balls and have nothing else to bitch about. So, here's an idea: GFY.

I've already said this a few posts up. Attendance was a problem all over the country this year except @ A&M apparently. I read yesterday that they're capacity for the year was 105%. LSU's was 97%.

It's only like $100 for season tickets... could it get any cheaper??

Yeah thats what he said
And you try to sell LF to come here with absolutely no students watching him, none of his buddies, not hot coeds, no crazy students painting his name on their chest, no peers to look at and sing the alma mater after a victory

LSU Athletics needs to make more money to be able to compete with other schools and raising the price of tickets across the board is one way. Students should not be exempt from rising ticket costs.
A $12 to $15 is not a large increase. Maybe if the students paid a little more for tickets that would feel invested and think twice about missing the game.
I wish LSU would publish the actual attendance numbers this year for students and rest of the stadiu.

Claiming the TS atmosphere is just because of the students. The bottom line is we, current student & alumni/season ticket holder, need each other. Every game this year that upper part of the student section was empty minus Arkansas. Taking those seats away won't do any harm to the rest of the section.
