This Wednesday looks nice. I may take off work and go... I need to make a decision y 5 pm today.

Then next week I'll be down there from the 22nd to the 26th. I'm just getting into the forecast on the 10 day outlook. We'll see...

the coves we've fished for years haven't produced much this year so far

I've blanked on white perch my last couple of trips. I give it at least 2 hours before I start bass fishing.

I've caught 1 white perch all year.

Other than one hot trip to a private cypress lake, I have had a shite year for perch. I had a decent numbers day last week at Buhlow, but the size was terrible. Like 4 keepers out of 40 bites.

We have already started catching some post spawn perch on our brushpiles.

Today was unreal for bass though. We caught over 50 and had 10 over 4lbs. Twice I caught 2 over 4lbs in one cast. All prespawners staging.

Not TB but fished Sunday before the front blew through on an area lake. Bass fished and caught 8, 6 keepers and one nice perch on a lizard on the bank. When loading up another boat at the landing caught 18 perch on some type of rooster something or another he said.

You guys that use Livescope.... I have a question. Do you see fish reacting more to livescope? I know that a lot of bass guys are saying on the ledge fisheries that they are seeing the bass start to move off once they zero in on them.
Just wondering if it bothers the crappie as well?

I am not sure on that yet. While I have seen them leave, I think it's other factors.

I went yesterday. Caught 6 and had 3 other bites.

Got bit on pretty much everything I threw, but nothing outshined anything else.

The water has fallen at least a foot and the fish have pulled back. It's weird. Very few beds in the are I fished in San Miguel.

Well... Jig or minnows?

Shallow or deep?

GPS coordinates, good sir.

I'm just kidding on that last one... Not the first two questions though.

How does one pick a cove or finger? I am just intimidated by the size of the lake.
