Are there any public schools in Baton Rouge that you would consider sending your kids to?

I know that BR public schools get a lot of shite for being terrible but they can’t all be terrible. Right?

I went to my nephew's graduation from Liberty magnet a supposed good school and it was a ghetto as I have ever seen

Both boys at Baton Rouge Magnet. One just graduated and the other starts in August.

My youngest daughter went to BR High. She also just graduated so our kids probably know each other. It's not a good fit for every kid, but the academics are excellent.
She enjoyed it and met lots of good friends there. It's such a big school (1600-1700 kids) that there are people from all walks of life. She was in a Christian private school K-8th.
