Aranda and why wouldn’t he be? He was the DC and AHC here and is HC of a power 5 currently.

Having Aranda with an open checkbook for an OC and RC with the rest of LSU’s resources would be absolutely nasty. The collective IQ of the staff would skyrocket

Quite honestly, I think Aranda at this point is my top choice. There may be better hires, but I think he will be rock solid and what the program needs right now.

If it comes down to either of those two then the coaching search has gone horribly wrong.

Aranda with BN as OC.

Is being the OC at LSU a more prestigious position than Head Coach at Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette?

If LSU would/could beat his HC salary at SWLAJC@L, Napier may consider it.

That would be a lethal combination........

Aranda is going to be a stellar head coach just as he was defensive coordinator. I’m sure watching Brady and Burrow in action was a productive learning experience.

That’s BS. I remember stories from people who golfed with Saban saying he carried two cell phones, one personal, one for high school coaches and recruits - and was constantly on the phone recruiting one or the other. Nick puts in the work.

Aranda and he can bring back Grimes with him. Both have been here and know the expectations.

FWIW, Baylor offered the job to Napier before Aranda and he turned it down.
