Who is your guy? And do you think they are ready for such a high profile job?

Don’t you think we need a bigger sample size with Aranda? Last year was a mess at Baylor and they will most likely finish with five or six losses this year. So one winning season in the big 12 deserves the LSU job?

100% Aranda. The only sure thing out there. He already knows everything about coaching at LSU at an elite level. He’s already done it!

I want to say Aranda but I'd have to go with Napier. He has been a HC longer and has done an incredible job with ULL.

Napier

I’m a big Aranda fan but I’d like to go offense here

....neither has the credentials to be offered one of the best coaching jobs in all of college football. I like Luke Fickell, and his resume reminds me a great deal of a guy we hired in 1979.....that EVERYONE said would win a national championship at L.S.U. That guy was Bo Rein.

Aranda, like others have said he's already been with LSU at their best.

We'd be in good hands with either one, tbh.

Wouldn’t be disappointed with either of those hired. Wonder if admin is waiting to see how Baylor’s season pans out

I’m guessing you haven’t watched them. They’ll finish in the top 3 of the Big 12 and might even win it.

Napier shouldn't be interviewed unless a lot of guys say no, including Aranda.

I love Aranda don’t get me wrong, but I agree let’s wait and see how Baylor season plays out. Theyve had a pretty easy road with one big win over Iowa State.

They still have BYU, Texas, OU, TCU and K State

I was thinking the same thing.. I guess "dallas" tiger isn't a Baylor fan?

I don't see a guaranteed loss on Baylor's schedule. They get BYU, OU, & Texas at home and Baylor will compete with them

Pretty short sighted. I’d rather every possible candidate be interviewed and a thorough search undertaken.

I doubt it. They already lost to Ok St. who is undefeated Will probably lose to OU and them and Texas will be a battle

They also play BYU this week so we'll see how good they really are

Umm no, that would be a shite ton of interviews. Pretty sure we know enough about a group of guys to call in up to 5 guys for an in-person interview. Napier is not one of those guys.

So had Pelini

Also, being a great DC is not the same as being a great HC. Tom Herman was a great OC at Ohio State. Tom Herman put together a super season at the University of Houston. That didn’t translate to winning at the University of Texas.
