And if we assume the cow jumped from the very tip top of Mt. Everest (That is real, isn't it?), then that's roughly 5 1/2 miles, so the moon would be what... 5 1/2 miles and 4 feet from earth?

All I've been asking for is a bit of examination of the claims by "The Science". Can it main principles -- a Spinning Ball, Heliocentric "Science" -- be "proven"? If so, how and when did it become unquestionable hardened dogma?
Without referring to books that tell you what to think, how to think, and the "facts", I'm asking you: "HOW DO YOU KNOW"?
We are told:
1) The Earth spins in orbit at 1000 mph at the equator; 750 mph at 45 Degrees Latitude. It travels 66,600 mph around the Sun.
(How do we know for sure? IS it true?)
2) How do you "know" for sure that this earth is NOT an extended "Flat" plane?
3)How do we know for sure that the Sun and Moon do not orbit as the Earth's satellites in concentric circles around a flat plane earth?
4) How do you "know" the distances to the Stars and Planets? Their exact size and chemical composition?

Some physics ARE indeed "made up", purely supposition, assumption, presumption, never "proven", merely theory (see: "Theoretical Science"). Einstein, Newton and Copernicus ALL admitted their "laws" could never be proven. You're never going to read about this in "Science" or "History" books. (and this is my over-arching point.)
Oh. And of course if there's no "Spinning Ball", there can be no actual operational "Coriolis Effect".

If I go to Memphis International Airport and take off in a plane with enough fuel and start traveling east in a straight line, I will eventually end up back in Memphis, right? If the earth isn't ROUND, but is rather a flat plane, how is that possible? According to you, the plane would reach the "end of the earth" and.... fly into a wall?
